Rock ’n' roll, Boogie Woogie and wild dancing: it's impossible to resist the energy of Black Ball Boogie, the musical trio from Bologna who are now the new stars of the I am SISLEY Campaign. A dip into the Forties and Fifties that will win everyone over, not just fans of vintage music and retro style.

Luciano, Manuel and Filippo are three musicians with joy in their hearts: a project came about from their meeting that led them to perform in over two hundred concerts, participate in festivals and events throughout Italy, and release their self-titled album “Black Ball Boogie” and the brand new single “Maledizione”.

Passion is the word that the three friends use most to talk about themselves: passion for music, for life, for people. Everything that they love to tell, convey and express can be found in their songs, in the liveliness of their performances, in the choreography of the dancers they perform with, in the manic looks they choose.

Denim is a must-have, in the double denim version or paired with a vest, white t-shirt and colorful shirts: a classic for playing and dancing rock ’n’ roll, a symbol of rebellion and freedom. Our three stars, together with their unleashed dancing, give us many options for pairing items, while preserving the original allure.

Double bass for Luciano, piano for Manuel, drums for Filippo: the Black Ball Boogie trio are musicians who discovered music very early on, listening to old cassettes and jazz records, studied at the conservatory, and followed the instinct that led them to play for the sheer pleasure of doing so. “Rock ’n' roll is a serious thing” (cit.) and being able to share your passion until it becomes a job is a great fortune: they're all about becoming rock stars, getting involved, but without ever compromising themselves.
